Discreetly Straighten Your Teeth with Invisalign®

Image of Invisalign clear retainerStraight, even teeth are a hallmark of a memorable smile. While traditional orthodontics can align crooked teeth, metal brackets and wires are obvious in appearance and can be uncomfortable. Fortunately, Invisalign® can straighten your smile discreetly and comfortably. Invisalign® gently moves your teeth into proper alignment with specialized, clear plastic aligners. In this way, you can improve your appearance while knowing that nobody will notice your cosmetic dentistry treatment. Drs. Christian Brandyberry and Amelia Wan are proud to be certified Invisalign® providers. Our patients in Thomasville, NC, and the surrounding areas can trust one of our doctors to deliver an Invisalign® treatment that results in a gorgeous, straight smile. Reach out to our practice today to schedule a consultation and learn more about your candidacy.

How Does Invisalign® Work?

Once your doctor determines you are a good candidate, your treatment will begin with the creation of a precise therapy plan. Using x-rays and impressions of your teeth, Dr. Brandyberry or Dr. Wan will customize your treatment and analyze the projected movement of your teeth. Based on this data, a series of clear plastic aligners will be crafted to specifically fit your smile. Every two weeks, you will begin wearing a new aligner that brings your smile closer to the proper alignment. You will wear your tray at least 22 hours a day, removing it only for eating and daily hygiene routines.

The Invisalign® Advantage

The unique technology that Invisalign® boasts provides a number of benefits to patients:

  • No food restrictions: Unlike traditional orthodontics with fixed brackets and wires, Invisalign® mouthpieces are entirely removable. This means that patients can enjoy all their favorite foods without worrying that it will interfere with their treatment.
  • Easy daily care: Invisalign® patients can brush and floss their teeth as they normally would, just taking care to clean their aligners. Traditional braces, on the other hand, can make daily hygiene routines more difficult to perform and lead to increased plaque buildup.
  • Efficient treatment: Invisalign® patients require fewer trips to the dentist than traditional orthodontics patients.
  • Enhanced confidence: Since Invisalign® aligners are nearly invisible, you can confidently smile and speak throughout the course of your treatment.

Thousands of patients have chosen Invisalign® as their preferred orthodontic treatment since it is so compatible with their lifestyles. As long as you can remember to consistently wear your aligners and maintain good oral hygiene practices on a daily basis, Invisalign® might be the right orthodontic treatment for you.

Am I a Good Candidate?

If you have healthy teeth and gums, and wish to correct mild to moderate misalignment, you are likely a good candidate for Invisalign®. Invisalign® can correct:

  • Crooked teeth
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Protruding upper teeth
  • Overlapping or crowded teeth
  • Overbite, underbite, cross bite, or an open bite

During your consultation, your doctor will perform a thorough examination to determine whether Invisalign® is the right treatment for your unique aesthetic goals.
