Let Our Cosmetic Dentists Improve Your Confidence With Whitening

Bright, white teeth are an important part of a dazzling, confident smile.

Genetics, aging, and personal habits such as smoking and drinking coffee can all take their toll on the shade of your teeth, making your smile less radiant. They may even impact your self esteem.

Luckily, if your enamel needs a little TLC, we can help. As cosmetic dentists and doctors Christian A. Brandyberry and Amelia Wan, perform smile bleaching procedures that can give you brighter, whiter teeth.

Our Teeth Whitening Methods

Brandyberry & Associates offers three primary methods of whitening your teeth:

Take-Home Whitening

Enjoy a brighter smile on your own schedule with take-home teeth whitening.

Those with sensitive teeth in particular may prefer this option.

Before we give you your kit, we will take custom impressions of your smile. This allows a more comfortable fit and more precise whitening.

Your take-home bleaching kit will contain this mouthpiece, as well as hydrogen-peroxide-based gel. To use it, you will place the gel in the trays and then wear them both for the time determined by your dentists.

Most likely, that will be about an hour a day for two weeks.

We also strive to ensure that our patients are thrilled with their results. Not only do we provide helpful directions, but we will also see you for follow-up dentistry visits.

That way, we can help you enjoy quality results based on your cosmetic goals.

Professional-Strength Crest Whitestrips

While you can purchase over-the-counter Crest Whitestrips, we also offer a professional-strength option at our dentistry practice, giving you brighter results.

You can use them as a take-home option.

Usually, patients will apply them once a day for 30 minutes. The treatment typically takes 20 days, but you likely see results in only three.

KöR In-Office Whitening

Typically, in-office whitening will give you brighter results than both at-home and over-the-counter options.

That's because your dentist is trained to handle the materials, allowing them to safely whiten your enamel to a more substantial degree.

Application methods may very, but KöR Whitening uses refrigerated, high-potency gels.

If you worry about staining, this cosmetic treatment has benefited from years of extensive clinical research on the subject.

The trays have special capabilities beyond just holding the gel in place too. They also lock out oral contaminants and prevent dilution.

This design results in quicker, more potent results.

See the Beautiful Results Of Enamel Bleaching

Before and after teeth whitening
Teeth whitening can lift the color of your enamel up to several shades, creating dental results like these. Whether you prefer in-office or at-home methods, Dr. Brandyberry and Dr. Wan can help you refine your smile with a cosmetic bleaching treatment.

The Differences Between At-Home and In-Office Whitening

Each patient has different bleaching needs, goals, and constraints. Fortunately, our dentists can help you determine which option best suits you and your smile: at-home or in-office whitening. Our choices have their own unique benefits, like these:

At-Home Whitening

Subtle Formulas

If you have sensitive teeth, you may want an option with a more subtle, less powerful formula, like at-home whitening trays.

Tailored Schedule

For those on-the-go, you can tailor your treatment to your schedule. From early morning to late nights, when you white your teeth is up to you.

Affordable Pricing

At-home whitening is the most budget-friendly dentist-directed teeth bleaching. It gives you a more affordable price without sacrificing peace of mind and results.

Convenient Location

There's no place like home. If you prefer to have your bleaching done in the comfort of your house, you may prefer this option.

In-Office KöR Whitening

Stronger Brightening

Because in-office whitening is directly conducted by your dentist, they can use stronger but safe bleaching formulas. This results in brighter enamel.

Shorter Timespan

In addition to whiter bleaching, in-office treatments typically take less time. Your dentist, Dr. Wan or Dr. Brandyberry, can whiten your enamel in just one appointment, as opposed to over two weeks.

Dentist Present

Having a dentist present to answer questions, conduct treatment, and just plain give you peace of mind is a huge advantage provided by in-office bleaching.

Easier Treatment

Instead of worrying about putting in trays, let us handle all the work. You can sit back and relax when you get your teeth brightened at Brandyberry & Associates.

Can I Bleach Dental Crowns Or Veneers?

No. You — and your dentist — cannot bleach crowns or veneers.

Both crowns and veneers will be unaffected by whitening.

Not to mention, they typically stay white and bright on their own.

So, your dentist will not waste your time or money on an unnecessary dental procedure.

We likely can bleach the teeth next to your restoration, though, which will have a much more visible effect.

There's No Shame in Having Stained Teeth But If You Wish to Whiten Them, We Can Help

Woman smiling
Over time, staining will happen to everyone. Even if you somehow managed to take absolute perfect care of your teeth, dental discoloration naturally occurs due to aging and genetics. Some patients do not mind this change, while others prefer cosmetic treatment to whiten their smile. For those who want to brighten their enamel, visit our Thomasville office.
